In the Tula region, two bridges that were closed during the flood have been reopened for passage. The water level has decreased, and the threat of flooding has receded. For this reason, the temporary ban on traffic on two sections of roads was lifted.

A low-water bridge over the Besputa River in the Yasnogorsky district is available for passage. We are talking about the Spitsinsky-Ivankovo-Yesukovsky road and the entrance to the Grigoryevskoye settlement. Restrictions were lifted on the access road to the low-water bridge over the Krasavaya Mecha River near the village of Vyazovo in the Yefremovsky district.

TSN24, citing the regional Ministry of Transport and Road Management, writes that the decision to open the bridges was made after experts checked the condition of the structures.

As of Tuesday morning, March 31, 10 low-water bridges in five municipalities were flooded due to active snowmelt in the Tula region. The flood situation is under the control of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Earlier it was reported that in 2026, more than 100 settlements of the Tula region will fall into the flood zone. The authorities have prepared an individual response plan for each of them.
