Full-time classes of the second shift were canceled at a school in the Perm Region, where a student attacked a teacher with a knife. This was announced on April 7 by the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of the region.

"The administration of the city of Dobryanka, together with law enforcement agencies, decided to reduce the lessons of the first shift and cancel the classes of the second shift at school No. 5," the MAX messenger says.

They added that security measures have now been tightened in all educational institutions in the region.

Dmitry Antonov, the head of the Dobryansky city district, called the attack on the head teacher an emergency.

"The second shift won't be studying. The parents received a notification about this in the parent chats. And the students who are currently at school will be allowed to go home after the fourth lesson. Emergency services specialists are on site, the situation is under control," he added.
