The deceased head teacher of a school in Dobryanka was the winner of the Teacher of the Year 2018 competition

Teacher Olesya Baguta, who died after an attack on a school in the city of Dobryanka in the Perm Region, was the winner of the Teacher of the Year 2018 contest, Izvestia found out.

Baguta taught Russian language and literature to the senior and junior classes. She confessed that she enjoys teaching, seeing in her students an interest in learning and "burning eyes."
