A telephone fraud center has been eliminated in the north-west of Moscow

In the north-west of Moscow, law enforcement agencies have eliminated a telephone fraud center, and two suspects have been detained. This was announced on April 7 by the press service of the main directorate of the Moscow Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

"There was a SIM box with dozens of SIM cards in the apartment on Dubravnaya Street. A 35—year-old man and a 43-year-old woman were detained," the ministry said in a statement.

It is noted that more than 50 SIM cards, a SIM box, as well as other equipment of the defendants, which was used for fraud, were seized.

On March 23, in the center of Moscow, the activities of a technical communications center that was used for telephone fraud were also stopped. As a result of the operation of the security forces, a 19-year-old young man was detained, who serviced the equipment for transmitting voice traffic, ensuring the operation of fraudulent call centers.
