On April 7, the press service of the Federal Air Transport Agency reported that Pulkovo Airport began accepting and dispatching flights by agreement.
"Pulkovo Airport accepts and dispatches flights in coordination with the relevant authorities in connection with the introduction of temporary restrictions on the use of airspace in the aviagavan area," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.
It clarifies that the measures are necessary to ensure flight safety.
Shortly before that, temporary restrictions were imposed at the airports of Vladikavkaz, Grozny, Cherepovets and at the air ports of Krasnodar and Yaroslavl.
