Two people died in an accident in the Trans-Baikal Territory.
In Chita, two people died as a result of a traffic accident involving a truck. This was announced on April 7 by the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate for the Trans-Baikal Territory.
The accident occurred on the evening of April 6 on Magistralnaya Street, a Toyota Mark II passenger car and a KamAZ truck collided.
"A 22-year-old driver and a 23-year-old passenger of a Toyota Mark II were killed in a traffic accident. The driver of the KAMAZ was taken to the Chita city clinical hospital," the Telegram channel reported.
At the moment, police officers are investigating the causes of the accident.
On April 6, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Russian Interior Ministry reported that 408 road accidents were recorded in Russia over the past weekend, resulting in 39 deaths and 494 injuries. In addition, 16 bus accidents were recorded on Russian roads over the weekend, in which there were no fatalities, but 18 road users needed medical attention.
