A case of fraud in obtaining subsidies from the budget was opened in the Kherson region

A criminal case on fraud in obtaining budget subsidies in excess of 650 thousand rubles was initiated against the head of a peasant farm in the Gornostayevsky district. This was announced on April 6 by the prosecutor's office of the Kherson region.

The fact of the crime was revealed by the prosecutor's office of the Nizhneserogozsky district during an audit of the implementation of legislation with the support of agricultural producers. It was established that the head of the enterprise provided the state with unreliable information about the costs of producing agrotechnological works in 2024.

"As a result, the regional budget suffered damage in excess of 650 thousand rubles. The prosecutor's office sent the verification materials to the investigative body to resolve the issue of criminal prosecution," the Telegram channel said.

The materials of the prosecutor's check were transferred to the investigative authorities. Based on them, the investigator of the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Fraud committed on a large scale").

The investigation of the cases of the participants in the attempted murder has been completed in the Kherson region.

On April 2, two suspects were detained in the Lipetsk region for embezzling more than 10 million rubles from participants in a special military operation. The Interior Ministry clarified that in the period from September 2024 to October 2025, the defendants were looking for single or unemployed men fit for military service. Under the guise of taking care of the safety of funds, they convinced the victims to transfer bank cards or open access to a mobile bank, after which they transferred the stolen amounts to their accounts or cashed out through ATMs.
