In response to the attack by the United States and Israel on the Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, the Iranian side may consider the data centers of the American companies Amazon and Microsoft in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as targets for retaliatory attacks. This was reported by the Fars news agency on April 6.
"The American data centers of Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle and Equinix in the UAE have now been identified as potential targets of Iran's retaliatory actions in the region," the Telegram channel said.
It is specified that eight centers related to artificial intelligence are among the targets of Tehran.
The Iranian State Television and Radio Company IRIB reported on April 3 that the building of the Shahid Beheshti University of Tehran, where specialists in the field of engineering and physics were trained, was damaged by US and Israeli strikes. The training building was attacked from the air. It is not specified which weapon was used in this case.
On March 29, Fars reported an attack by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on the research and educational buildings of the University of Science and Technology, which was located in Isfahan, Iran. No one was injured in the incident.
