Britain will refuse to allow the United States to use its military bases to attack bridges and power plants in Iran. This was reported on April 6 by the newspaper The i Paper, citing sources.

"The UK will refuse [US President] Donald Trump the use of Royal Air Force bases to launch attacks on Iranian bridges or power plants," the publication says.

The newspaper's sources emphasize that the British authorities are ready to provide their bases exclusively for defensive operations.

On April 1, Trump warned Iran that the United States would launch attacks on the country's energy facilities if a deal to end the conflict was not concluded. According to him, the new Iranian leadership is less radical than the previous one, but the change of power in the state was not among the goals of the US operation.
