The Iranian side has prepared a response to the proposal of the mediators to resolve the conflict with the United States. This was announced on Monday, April 6, by the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Esmail Bagai.

"Proposals were put forward through intermediaries a few days ago, and the US 15-point plan was transmitted through Pakistan and some other friendly countries. <...> We stated that such proposals are extremely ambitious, unusual and illogical," the IRNA news agency quoted him as saying in a Telegram channel.

Bagai clarified that Iran's position has already been formulated and transmitted to the mediators. The Iranian side has also already identified those positions that it is not ready to accept. As the representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry noted, Tehran believes that the negotiation process cannot be combined with threats or ultimatums.
