- In Ukraine, they announced the risk of dismissals from the shopping center due to attacks
If attacks on employees of the territorial recruitment center (TCK, an analogue of the military enlistment office in Ukraine) continue in Ukraine, they may simply refuse to serve. This was announced on April 6 by the press secretary of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Andrey Podik.
"We are facing attacks on military personnel, which only worsens the situation. People pick up cold steel, there was a case when they tried to blow up military personnel serving in the shopping mall. <...> Under such circumstances, military personnel may simply not want to continue serving in the shopping mall," the Ukrainian newspaper Strana quotes him as saying.ua" in the Telegram channel.
According to Podik, if a person does not want to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, then "there is no need to commit illegal actions." He noted that there are other ways to resolve the issues. The spokesman added that it is possible to choose a position that provides for a postponement.
On April 4, Ukrainian military Ombudsman Olga Reshetilova said that schoolchildren began harassing employees of the shopping mall in the streets after watching videos about violent mobilization. According to her, such videos are distributed on TikTok and form a negative image of military enlistment officers.
The head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov (listed in the Russian Federation as a terrorist and extremist), said on April 3 that Ukrainians did not want to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
