Iran has attacked American troops on the island of Bubiyan in Kuwait
American troops stationed on the Kuwaiti island of Bubiyan were attacked by Iranian troops. This was announced on April 6 by the representative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic, Ibrahim Zolfakari.
"Iran attacked satellite equipment and ammunition on the island with the help of drones," the Reuters news agency quoted him as saying.
He also clarified that American troops had relocated there from the Camp Arifjan military base in Kuwait after the facility had been repeatedly attacked by the Iranian armed Forces.
Bubiyan Island is the largest of Kuwait's islands, located in the northwest of the Persian Gulf.
The day before, Iran attacked US military bases in the UAE and Kuwait. On the same day in Kuwait, a fire broke out in the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation oil complex due to a drone attack.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran announced attacks on the data center of the American technology company Oracle in Dubai on April 2. Later, the Emirati authorities confirmed minor damage to the building.
