Putin instructed to provide assistance to victims of abnormal precipitation in Dagestan

Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Alexander Kurenkov, and the head of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, to provide the necessary assistance to people affected by abnormal precipitation in the region. This was announced on April 6 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"The President has given the necessary instructions to all relevant agencies to provide assistance to people. The president also instructed to convene a meeting tomorrow (April 7) with the participation of representatives of Dagestan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and other federal agencies in order to discuss in detail the situation in Dagestan," Peskov said.
