The automobile plant of the AGR holding in Kaluga, where new Tenet cars are produced, is preparing to start production of a new model with the index 9. It should be on the assembly line in 2026. Vladislav Shapsha, Governor of the Kaluga Region, told TASS about this on April 6.

The large seven-seat Tenet T9 SUV was introduced in Russia in January. At that time, representatives of the brand announced that its production would begin at the Kaluga plant in the first half of the year.

The production of Tenet cars is organized according to the full cycle. The current model range includes the T4, T7 and T8 crossovers.

According to the results of the first quarter of this year, the volume of shipments of cars of the Russian brand Tenet to the dealer network amounted to 29.5 thousand units, the company's press service reported on April 2. The Tenet T7 crossover remains the most in-demand model, accounting for more than 50% of sales in three months.

On April 3, Changan introduced the new generation Uni-S crossover in Russia. The novelty differs from the currently available Uni-S on the market by the presence of an all-wheel drive system.
