The business program of the first Russian Space Forum has been published
The Russian Space Forum— the main business event of Space Week, presented the business program of the event. The forum will be held at the Rossiya National Center on April 9. Within the framework of the event, 13 sessions will be held, divided into 5 thematic blocks, and a plenary session "Space Agenda 2030+: Global Challenges and national Strategies" will also be held, which will be attended by foreign partners, among others.
The RCF will be a unique event for the country, creating the necessary platform for dialogue between all representatives of the industry. This initiative will contribute to the development of the space industry in setting specific tasks and cooperation among its participants. The Forum is organized by Roscosmos State Corporation with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation. The operator is the Roscongress Foundation.
"The current stage in the development of the space industry is characterized by increased global competition and the transition to a new model of the space economy based on data, technology and scalable services. It is fundamentally important for Russia not only to maintain its position, but also to form its own technological solutions. The Russian Space Forum will become a platform for developing systematic approaches to the development of the industry, combining the resources of the state, science and business," said Denis Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia.
Experts from various fields will be invited to the Forum to discuss strategies for expanding human capabilities in outer space. One of the topics to be discussed at the event will be the prospect of training new personnel and upgrading technologies for safe flights. For example, one of the sessions "Biomedical support for flights beyond low Earth orbit" will focus the attention of participants on the importance of developing the conditions in which astronauts find themselves. Improving the security system will help them better interact with extreme conditions, which will significantly expand their capabilities.
"Space exploration is not only a technological challenge, but also a complex task centered on humans. The development of the orbital economy, the creation of new launch vehicles, communication technologies and data processing require the training of a new generation of specialists and an interdisciplinary approach. Already today, it is necessary to develop competencies that will be in demand in the space industry of the future, from engineering solutions to issues of ensuring human life and work outside the Earth," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee of Space Week 2026.
The development of the lunar infrastructure will be discussed during the session "The Moon: the transition from exploration to exploration." This program is necessary to ensure national sovereignty in the context of active space exploration. This step will make it possible to make a technological breakthrough affecting the exploration of deep space. This will be discussed during the session "Fundamental Space Research: from low orbit to the boundaries of the Universe." In recent years, Russia has made progress in understanding space phenomena. This information becomes the foundation for further exploration of interstellar space and the subsequent integration of this knowledge into everyday life.
"The Russian Space Forum is not only a look into the future, but also a nod to the past. Within the framework of the Forum, all invited speakers, partners and participants will be able to contribute to shaping the vector of development of the space industry. Space exploration and exploration is one of the priorities for the country," said Dmitry Bakanov, Director General of Roscosmos.
An important topic of the Forum will be the potential of private space companies that have become active in recent years. The session "Private Space: Investments and Growth Models for a new Ecosystem" will focus on government influence on such companies and their development prospects in the next decade. This will affect the issues of competition, both global and in the domestic market.
