As a result of the US-Israeli strikes on a hospital in Tehran, a number of departments were partially or completely disabled. This was reported to Izvestia on April 6 by Malek Abida, a correspondent for Al Mayadeen TV channel.

"This is a hospital, and the situation here is extremely difficult. In recent days, it has been subjected to Israeli and American airstrikes. As a result, a number of its departments were partially or completely disabled," the journalist said.

According to him, the patients were transferred to another hospital. The correspondent also clarified that the strikes were not limited to the civilian sector only — they spread to Iranian universities and research centers such as Shahid Beheshti University, Amir Kabir University and other scientific and technical institutions.

The day before, US President Donald Trump postponed to Wednesday the date of strikes on Iranian power plants and bridges due to the Islamic Republic's blocking of shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. According to the new statement, the strikes are scheduled for Tuesday, 20:00 Eastern time, which corresponds to 03:00 on Wednesday, April 8, Moscow time.

On April 4, Al Mayadeen journalist Bissan Tarraf showed the aftermath of an attack on a Scientific university center in Tehran. She noted that as a result of the attack, the faculties of fundamental Sciences, electrical engineering and physics were also damaged.
