In Sochi, 15 flights went to alternate airfields due to restrictions

Due to the previously imposed time restrictions on the operation of Sochi airport, 15 flights left for alternate airfields. This was announced on April 6 by the press service of aviagavan.

"Due to time restrictions on flights, the crews of 15 flights decided to leave for alternate airfields: Makhachkala, Nalchik, Mineralnye Vody, Vladikavkaz, Grozny, Astrakhan," the Telegram channel said.

The press service clarified that Sochi Airport is operating according to the actual schedule. Passenger check-in for flights is currently open, and aircraft are serviced on the apron.

"Please note that in the next 2 days, airlines may stabilize their flight schedules by postponing, canceling or combining flights," the airport added.
