Currently, ships from many countries are waiting for the opportunity to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, while Iran, blocking navigation through the water corridor, proceeds primarily from the need to ensure its own safety. Izvestia was the first Russian media outlet to publish exclusive footage from the Strait of Hormuz on April 6.

"Different countries are waiting for the opportunity to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. But one thing is important for Iran: hostile states and those who support the conflict in the Middle East will not be able to use this route," correspondent Nasser Ashkeri said.
