Jointly with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), work is underway to create a "silence regime" for the repair of one of the high-voltage power supply lines of the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP). This was announced on April 6 by station director Yuri Chernichuk.

"At the moment, the main source of external energy supply is the Ferroalloy line, <...> at the moment, work is underway with the IAEA to create another, sixth silence regime so that technical specialists can repair the line," Chernichuk said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

It is noted that backup diesel generators are on standby, and the supply of diesel fuel is sufficient for use if necessary.
