In a Moldovan school textbook, American bombers were passed off as Soviet. On April 5, former Deputy Prime Minister of Moldova Alexander Muravsky pointed out the substitution of historical facts.

"They took a specific historical source (a photo with an American plane) reflecting a historical fact (the bombing of Romanian oil fields) and changed the caption (they pretended they were Soviet planes)," RIA Novosti quoted the politician as saying.
