In the Akmola region of Kazakhstan, near the village of Sabyndy in the Korgalzhyn district, a dam burst. This was reported on April 5 in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic.

"A breakthrough of the Shoptykol dam has been recorded in the Korgalzhynsky district. The hydraulic engineering facility is located 2 km north of the village of Sabyndy. Operational work is underway at the scene to ensure the safe passage of water," the Telegram channel said.
