Alexey Guy Korovin, the grandson of the famous Impressionist Konstantin Korovin, died on April 4 in France at the age of 99. This was reported by the Konstantin Korovin Foundation.

"In France, in the city of Quimper, the earthly journey of Alexei Guy Korovin, the grandson of the famous Russian artist Konstantin Korovin, has ended. He was 98 years old," the message on the VKontakte social network says.

It is noted that the artist died surrounded by close people and family. Alexey Guy Korovin became popular as a landscape painter. He was awarded medals for his work at exhibitions in Paris, Geneva and Marseille. His paintings were exhibited in Moscow in 2020.
