An unusually shaped cloud was spotted over the Black Sea. This was reported on March 5 by the Turkish newspaper Star.

"A cylindrical cloud formation moving over the Black Sea at noon was recorded along the coast," the publication says.

Meteorologists added that this effect is caused by a rare atmospheric phenomenon that occurs due to the rapid displacement of hot and cold air masses.

On March 9, the NOS television and radio company reported that a large meteorite resembling a fireball was seen in the sky over the Netherlands on Monday. According to space expert Rob van den Berg and representative of the Netherlands Meteor Working Group Joost Hartman, the detected object is highly likely to be a meteorite.
