Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi. The parties stressed the need to stop attacks on the facilities of the industrial and energy structures of the Islamic Republic. This was announced on April 5 on the official website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"They stressed the need to immediately stop reckless and illegal attacks on civil, industrial and energy infrastructure facilities, including the Bushehr NPP, which is under IAEA safeguards," the statement said.
