Alexander Leonov, General Director and General Designer of NPO Mashinostroenie Military Industrial Corporation, has died. This was reported to Interfax on April 5 by the company's press service.
The Moscow-based NPO Mashinostroenie (the city of Reutov, part of the Tactical Missile Armament Corporation) is a developer of Avangard, Zircon hypersonic missile systems and a number of other systems for the Russian army.
