On March 5, Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono called for security guarantees for United Nations (UN) peacekeepers, especially those serving in the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).

"We ask the United Nations to reconsider its approach to ensuring the safety of peacekeepers wherever they are, especially as part of UNIFIL," the Antara news agency quoted him as saying.
