The draft of the new educational standard for grades 10-11 included 16 compulsory subjects, some of which will be studied at the choice of students and their parents. Maxim Kostenko, an expert from the Ministry of Education and Science, head of the Lesnev Institute of Educational Content and Methods, told about this on April 5.

"There are 16 compulsory subjects in the draft of the new Federal State Educational Standard for Secondary General Education," he told RIA Novosti.
