GOST for cooking dumplings and casseroles was developed in Russia

Technological recommendations for cooking dumplings and casseroles are included in the draft of the first GOST of traditional Russian cuisine. This became known on April 5.

The draft states that the dough for dumplings should be exclusively unleavened. It is recommended to place the filling of ready-made products in round balls, and seal the edges with a simple pinch or a pigtail, RIA Novosti reports.
