Large-scale investment projects (MiPS) have been implemented in Moscow for ten years, under which developers are provided with land for lease on special terms for the construction of significant urban facilities. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in his channel in the MAX messenger.

According to him, the IAPM mechanism is aimed at developing urban infrastructure and creating jobs.

"IIP is a special status for projects aimed at developing the city's infrastructure and creating jobs. We provide plots for rent on special conditions. Developers, in turn, are building various production facilities, public and business complexes, sports and social facilities on them," said the Mayor of Moscow.

This model of cooperation makes it possible to effectively use vacant land plots and attract investments into the capital's economy. The implementation of the projects also corresponds to the objectives of the national project "Infrastructure for Life".

129 large-scale investment projects have been completed in Moscow since 2016. As a result, 21 schools and kindergartens, 19 sports buildings, 16 health facilities and four cultural institutions, as well as other facilities were built.

"One of the major completed shipyards is the unique Moscow Shipyard, which has become the most modern among Russian shipyards. The company includes a fleet maintenance site and stand-off points with charging infrastructure. It also includes its own design bureau, which develops river electric vehicles. The shipyard's production area covers 23,000 square meters," Sergei Sobyanin added.
