Manchester City Football Club (FC) defeated Liverpool in the 1/4 final of the FA Cup at their home stadium. The match, which took place on Saturday, April 4, ended with a score of 4:0 in favor of the home team.

The main character of the confrontation was the Norwegian striker of the "citizens" Erling Holand. The striker scored a hat-trick, scoring in the 39th minute from the penalty spot, as well as scoring in added time to the first half and in the 57th minute of the game.
