Drunk woman in a foreign car knocked down four teenagers in Bratsk

In Bratsk, Irkutsk region, a drunk woman driving a Toyota Sprinter hit four teenagers. This was announced on April 4 by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

"A 45-year—old female driver of a Toyota Sprinter car ran over a group of young people <...> an 18-year—old young man and three 16-17-year-old girls needed medical attention," the ministry said in a statement on the MAX messenger.

It is reported that the teenagers were crossing the road at an unregulated pedestrian crossing. Two victims were hospitalized. Law enforcement officers found out that the driver was intoxicated, while the alcohol concentration in her blood was 4.5 times higher than the permissible levels. Administrative proceedings have been initiated against the culprit of the accident under Article 12.24 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules"). The car was sent to the parking lot.

The day before, a bus with children was involved in an accident in the Saratov region. As a result, the driver died. The governor of the Saratov region, Roman Busargin, announced that the accident in which the driver died occurred in the Petrovsky district. All the children in the cabin — 23 people — were taken to hospitals, where doctors and psychologists began working with them. After a while, information appeared that five people, including three minors, were redirected to Saratov by sanaviation boards.
