A partial collapse of a stadium in Peru's capital Lima has killed one person and injured at least 47 others. This was announced on April 4 by the Ministry of Health of Peru.
"The entire healthcare system acted immediately. Eight ambulances from SAMU, the General Corps of Volunteer Firefighters of Peru and EsSalud were involved," the agency said in a publication on the social network page X (ex. Twitter).
In connection with the incident, the authorities announced an increased alert in all hospitals, anticipating a possible influx of new victims.
It is noted that the head coach of Alianza Lima, Fernando Cabada, expressed regret over the tragic event.
The Rasd News channel reported on April 3 that eight people died as a result of the collapse of an apartment building in Kabul province during a powerful earthquake. As TOLOnews Plus TV channel added, the earthquake was recorded at 20:45 local time (19:15 Moscow time). According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the epicenter of the tremors was located 35 km south of Jarm county in Badakhshan province. The source of the disaster was at a depth of about 186 km.
