The Barbados-flagged Trackhound vessel has blocked traffic in the Bosphorus Strait due to engine failure. This was announced on April 3 by the Turkish Coast Guard Headquarters.

"Navigation in the strait has been temporarily stopped in both directions," RIA Novosti quoted.

The breakdown occurred near the Chubuklu pier. Rescue work has begun.
