In the Leningrad region, the head of the administration of the Toksovskoye Urban Settlement municipal formation, his deputy and assistant in the case of receiving a bribe were detained. This was announced on April 3 on its website by the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation.
"Investigators of the GSU of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the city of St. Petersburg have opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Receiving a bribe"). The head of the administration of the Toksovskoye Urban Settlement municipality, his deputy and assistant were detained on suspicion of committing this crime," the publication says.
According to the investigation, from November 2024 to April 2026, the defendants acted as part of an organized group and demanded 40 million rubles from the director of one of the organizations for assistance in leasing and subsequent purchase of land in the settlement.
During the transfer of part of the funds, the suspects were detained by employees of the Federal Security Service of Russia in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region. It is specified that investigative actions are currently being carried out, some of the defendants have been arrested, and another one will be given a preventive measure in the near future.
The press service of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported on April 1 that a criminal case had been opened in the Chelyabinsk Region against Vyacheslav Korobeynikov, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Yaroslavl Region. He is suspected of receiving a large-scale bribe.
