Actor of the TV series "Streets of Broken Lanterns" Sergey Selemenev has died.

Honored Artist of Russia Sergey Selemenev, known to a wide audience for the TV series "Streets of Broken Lanterns", died at the age of 65. His departure was unexpected and was a heavy loss for colleagues and fans.

The actor died on April 1, he did not live to see his 65th birthday for about two weeks. According to preliminary data, the artist's health was undermined by a serious illness. Sergey Selemenev suffered from problems with the endocrine system for a long time.

The farewell to the artist will take place on April 6 at his native theater, where he served for more than 30 years. Selemenev was born in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, worked in Riga, taught acting, and then returned to Krasnoyarsk.
