In Primorye, the construction of Artemovskaya TPP-2 is entering the final stage. The facility is one of the six projects of the RusHydro holding company for the modernization of thermal energy in the Far East, the press service of the regional government reports.

The station is scheduled to be commissioned by the end of 2026. Such deadlines were announced to the head of the region Oleg Kozhemyako during his visit to the construction site, writes IA PrimaMedia.

The installed electric capacity of TPP-2 will be 440 MW, and the thermal capacity will be 456 Gcal/h. Combined-cycle gas turbines of Russian production will ensure their operation.

Currently, about 2 thousand people work at the facility. The new station will become a key source of stable energy supply for the southern regions of Primorye and will provide heat to residents of the Artyomovsky district.

Kozhemyako also recalled that two new power units are being built at the Partizanskaya GRES in parallel. He expressed hope that the builders would keep their promises and deliver the facility on time.
