Drunk resident of Minvod stole a tractor for a trip to his parents

An employee of an agricultural enterprise in the Mineralovodsk district stole a tractor from work to visit. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Stavropol Territory on Friday, April 3.

The executive director of the company applied to the police department with a statement about the theft of special equipment. Investigators found out that a 23-year-old local resident who works as a mechanic in the organization was involved in the theft.

The young man told law enforcement officers that he had been drinking alcohol at home and suddenly he was overtaken by a desire to visit his parents who live in the Alexandrovsky district. The attacker does not have his own car, so he decided to use a tractor.

On the territory of the enterprise, the young man started the vehicle using the keys left in the ignition. In order not to attract the attention of the guard, the suspect turned off the headlights, and on the way cut the wire from the sensor of the navigation system.
