One of the two crew members of the American F-35 fighter jet shot down over Iran was rescued. This was reported on April 3 by the CBS News channel, citing officials.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on the morning of April 3 that the Iranian military had destroyed an American F-35 fighter jet in the skies over the country.
