From the point of view of constitutional or civil rights, the guilt of a jealous partner who collects evidence of adultery in interfering with privacy is difficult to prove. Lawyer Pavel Korniako told Izvestia about this.

However, collecting evidence of infidelity between a husband and wife in order to get a divorce is meaningless, the expert noted.

"Marriage, according to the provisions of the Family Code of the Russian Federation, is a voluntary union of two people, so its dissolution is possible in principle without collecting any compromising material," he explained.

In addition, information obtained through semi-legal and semi-official applications cannot be considered proper evidence, the expert warned.

For husbands and wives who were thinking about finding compromising material on their partner, the source recommended that they end their marriage without spending money and nerves on collecting evidence of infidelity.

"If there is no trust in the family, then it is not a family, because the couple lacks such categories as love, trust and mutual respect," said Korniako.
