Tunka National Park in Buryatia closed to tourists

In Buryatia, most tourist routes in the Tunka National Park were temporarily closed. Inconveniences are associated with the introduction of a special fire protection regime.

According to the press service of the national park, the exceptions were the ecotropics "Sayanai Zurhen", "Peak of Love", "Path of Health" and "Sources of Life".

The route to the "Silver Lake" is accessible only to organized groups with certified guides, instructors, guides or interpreters.

According to the information of IA UlanMedia, from April 8 to April 13, access to routes to "Galina Peak" and "Peak of Love" will be open. On these dates, preparations for the Capricorn skyrunning festival and the celebration of the park's 35th anniversary will take place.

A special fire protection regime began operating in Buryatia on April 1. During this period, it is forbidden to burn dry grass and use an open fire. For violation, individuals face a fine of up to 50 thousand rubles, and legal entities — up to 1 million rubles.
