Changan announced a new generation Uni-S crossover in Russia

Changan has introduced the new generation Uni-S crossover in Russia. Unlike the Uni-S currently available on the market, the novelty is distinguished by the presence of an all-wheel drive system. This is stated in the message of the Russian press service of the brand, which was received by Izvestia on April 3. Prices and dates for the start of sales have not yet been specified.

The new Changan Uni-S is equipped with a 1.5-liter Blue Core turbo engine paired with a 7-speed wet-type dual-clutch transmission. In the front—wheel drive version, the power is 157 hp, in the all-wheel drive version - 181 hp. A multi-link suspension is installed at the rear, the all-wheel drive system is developed by BorgWarner, the ground clearance is 188 mm.

It is stated that as part of the adaptation for the Russian market, the model received an expanded winter package, which includes heated steering wheel, heated front and rear seats, heated windshield, mirrors, and windshield washer nozzles.

The list of equipment includes a digital dashboard (10.25 inches), a 14.6-inch media system screen with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging for a 15-watt smartphone, as well as built-in Yandex online services. The front seats are equipped with electric controls, heating and ventilation, and a welcome seat with automatic seat displacement is also provided.

There is also an all-round viewing system, a built-in DVR with four cameras, an electric tailgate with contactless access, a panoramic roof with a sunroof, as well as atmospheric interior lighting. A set of assistants is responsible for safety, including adaptive cruise control, emergency braking and lane keeping systems.

Earlier, on March 31, Changan announced the Russian launch of sales of the new seven-seat crossover Changan CS75 Pro. It will be offered with an 181 hp (280 Nm) Blue Core family engine. The car has a three-row layout, the second row seats are equipped with longitudinal adjustment.
