Sweden has detained the oil tanker Flora-1 on suspicion of an oil spill east of the island of Gotland in the Baltic Sea. This was announced on April 3 by Swedish Minister of Civil Defense Karl-Oskar Bolin.

"The vessel has been detained and is suspected of committing environmental crimes after an oil spill east of [the island of] Gotland, in the Swedish economic zone," Karl-Oskar Bolin wrote on his social network X (ex. Twitter).
