Rosseti named the main priorities in the field of strengthening technological sovereignty

Reducing dependence on imported components and materials, as well as encouraging Russian manufacturers to develop their component base, are among the priorities for strengthening technological sovereignty in the electric grid complex. This was stated by Andrey Murov, First Deputy General Director of PJSC ROSSETI, at a meeting of the State Council of the Russian Federation Commission on Energy during the Energoprom Energy Forum in Kazan.

"We support all legislative initiatives aimed at implementing import substitution, including the introduction of a national procurement regime. We see positive effects from the implementation of the grant program to "grow" technology companies. Constant direct contact with manufacturers is very important. It was this kind of interaction that allowed us to master the production of many types of high-tech equipment for the grid complex in Russia," said Murov.

He stressed that the work to ensure the technological sovereignty of the industry continues. Currently, the main focus is on reducing dependence on imported components and materials, as well as encouraging Russian manufacturers to develop their component base. To do this, the ROSSETI Group's certification system evaluates the level of localization, monitors the number of imported parts and materials, and provides plans for the transition to domestic analogues.

Murov also focused on the issues of ensuring the independence and security of critical information infrastructure. The ROSSETI Group is working in these areas under strict regulatory requirements, which require a significant amount of funding.

Among the important tasks is to promote the development of domestic IT solutions, in particular, the formation of the necessary regulatory framework, including industry standards, consolidation of requirements for software and hardware products, improvement of testing and certification procedures, as well as a system of registers of solutions.
