The best students of technical specialties will receive the Melnichenko scholarship

As part of the second competition, held in the 2025-2026 academic year, 105 students of technical and engineering fields will receive the Andrei Melnichenko scholarship. According to the Melnichenko Foundation, the total number of winners of the program has approached 600 since its inception.

Among the winners are students of Kuzbass State Technical University, Siberian Federal University, Perm National Research Polytechnic University.

According to the foundation, the number of applications from students of colleges and technical schools has increased this year. The leaders in the number of winners were Kiselyov Mining College (Kemerovo Region) and Minusinsk Agricultural College (Krasnoyarsk Territory).

"Our program is part of a systematic and consistent effort to build the human resources potential of several industries at once. We are building a long-term model of interaction with young specialists, accompanying them at key stages of their professional development. The scholarship is an additional incentive to focus on studying and a way to strengthen interest in engineering and technical specialties," commented Tatiana Zhuravleva, CEO of the foundation.

The scholarship was established by the Melnichenko Foundation in 2024 to support students who have distinguished themselves in their studies, research, or breakthrough projects. The program covers 44 leading universities and 107 vocational schools. The maximum monthly payments are 20-25 thousand rubles.

The competition is held twice a year, and the winner receives a scholarship for 16 academic months.
