Sobyanin spoke about the support of the capital's art schools

In 2025, schoolchildren studying in creative educational institutions of the capital received more than 30 thousand awards at competitions in the field of culture and art. At the same time, over 10,000 of them have been won internationally. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin told about this in his channel in the MAX messenger.

In Moscow, over 720,000 children attend additional education programs related to art and creativity. To improve the quality of education, the city is actively modernizing specialized institutions and improving their material base. Last year, the renovated N.P. Rakov and A.K. Lyadov children's music schools resumed their work. At the same time, educational organizations received a significant upgrade in equipment: they were supplied with more than 5,900 pieces of equipment, furniture and musical instruments.

In addition, the capital provides financial support to talented students of children's art schools and creative colleges by providing them with grants. In 2025, the list of applicants for such support was expanded. In addition, graduates of the capital's creative educational institutions can count on compensation for the cost of studying at universities in specialized areas, up to full cost coverage.
