On the eve of the weekend, the State Traffic Inspectorate urged motorists to strictly observe traffic regulations and be more careful on the roads of towns and cities, especially in the morning and evening. Drivers should take special care when approaching intersections and unregulated pedestrian crossings. We recommend that you do not rush to "skip" them as quickly as possible, but, on the contrary, slow down to the minimum speed in advance in order to stop the vehicle for pedestrians to pass.
"In addition, we advise you not to overestimate your strength and driving skills, to abandon risky driving, exceeding the speed limit, to refrain from sudden rash maneuvers and changes of lanes, overtaking and driving into oncoming traffic — even in the permitted places. Remember that the skills, driving experience, well—being, and law-abiding driving behavior depend not only on the life and health of the driver himself, but also on the lives and health of other road users, including your young passengers, who should be transported in compliance with all necessary safety measures," said the deputy head of the road safety advocacy Department. and prevention of children's road traffic injuries GUOBDD of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Police Colonel Anton Belan.
Earlier it was reported that since April 1, when the annual recalculation of the bonus-malus coefficient (KBM) in CTP took place, the number of drivers with its minimum value has increased. Now, drivers with a BMD below 1 account for 93.8% of all drivers in the country.
