The Tretyakov Gallery is giving the Vladimir and Donskoy Icons of the Mother of God to the Russian Orthodox Church for free use. This was announced on April 3 by the museum's press service.

The icon "Our Lady of Vladimir" and the icon "Our Lady of Don" will be transferred to the use of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.
