SF assessed the chances of a robot uprising on Earth

A possible catastrophic scenario with a "robot uprising" on Earth is not currently expected, but the pace of development of such technologies is worrying. This was announced on March 3 by Deputy Chairman of the Council for the Development of the Digital Economy at the Federation Council, Senator Artem Sheikin.

"I definitely don't expect a robot uprising, but look at what is happening in the world right now: a large number of companies are manufacturing those very robots, and there is an opinion that in 10-15 years the number of robots on Earth will be more than people," he told TASS.
