In Russia, large families who have received a single benefit will be paid in 2026 for another year if their average per capita income is no more than 10% higher than the regional subsistence level. This was announced on March 3 by State Duma deputy Alexei Govyrin (United Russia faction).

"In 2026, the procedure for extending the single benefit for large families is changing. The meaning of the new rule boils down to the following: if a large family has already received a single benefit and, with a new appeal, the average per capita income turned out to be higher than the regional subsistence minimum per capita, the payment may remain for another 12 months, when the excess falls within the limit of up to 10%," Govyrin told RIA Novosti.
