The official representative of the US Department of War, Sean Parnell, confirmed the resignation of General Randy George from the post of the 41st Chief of Staff of the US army. He made a corresponding statement on March 2 on the social network X.

"General Randy George is resigning as the 41st Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army with immediate effect," the statement said.
